NetFronts minimum configuration is DUAL XEON 2.4GHz
processors with 3 GB RAM. We maintain all website data
on an enterprise-grade 1 Terabyte (TB) Network Attached
Storage (NAS) unit. Our Network Operations Center (NOC)
is equipped with standby machines, industry-leading
APC power supplies (UPSs), and a temperature-

all located in a secure, monitored facility.

Nightly Complete Backups
All your website data is backed up daily to a Rackable Systems
4 TB Network Attached Storage unit. We continuously maintain
over 45 days worth of backups and can use the unit in a hot-swap
configuration with the NAS server in case of failure. Additionally,
NetFronts backs up all MySQL databases and server configuration
files twice daily. NetFronts was hand-selected nationally
to work directly with Rackable System on the storage unit
and software.
Force Filtered Cooling
All drives, motherboards, and power supplies in our NOC
are in cases with a positive pressure filtered-air environment.
Fans pull filtered air into the protective case, and
the components within are cooled by fans which circulate
this purified air. The constant introduction of clean
air into the case creates a positive pressure environment
ensuring that dust and particles remain out.
Hot Swap RAID 5 Drives
The drives and drive bays of our servers are all constructed
from high-grade aluminum, and rest in a Shock Mounted Drive
Cage, which adds to the durability of the hardware. We
also back up our servers nightly. By running a RAID 5 configuration,
a drive could completely fail and the machine would still
run, which ensures that your website remains up. The NAS
units also run with a hot-spare, so we could lose 2 drives
and still run.
Standby Servers
NetFronts has online spares of all server configurations.
If the server were to experience a hardware failure, we
would turn on the backup and connect to the data and have
the sites running again in a matter of minutes. If for
some reason the NAS storage unit fails, it will fail-over
to the backup unit which provides the same functionality.
Again, your website would be back up in a matter of minutes.
